Friends of IWD
In 1999 the IWD established the Friend of the IWD Award to recognize individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to the IWD goal of equal access for healthcare for women with disabilities. Each year this award honors a person/s who has contributed significant effort and innovation. The award is bestowed at the IWD's annual Holiday Party. Pictured with the recipients are Judith Goldberg, IWD Director and Mrs. Elly Hammerman, Patron of the IWD and a member of the Hospital's Board of Directors.
