Arthritis Foundation Exercise Class
Arthritis Foundation Exercise Class is an exciting exercise program designed for adults living with arthritis and other mobility impairments. This class helps participants improve their fitness level by increasing flexibility, strength and endurance, while protecting their joints from stress and strain. Music and rhythm accompany exercise techniques, which invigorate the body, and stimulate the mind.
In each Arthritis Foundation Exercise Class:
- Each woman is encouraged to view movement as a journey of exploration and to discover what techniques are personally effective.
- The focus is on the enjoyment of flowing, expressive movements that improve balance and coordination.
- Techniques for voicing the breath while moving helps to center the mind as well as the body.
- Guided relaxation and visualization promote energy conservation as well as pain and stress reduction.
